Unless otherwise prescribed by the examiner(s), candidates can only use the approved models of calculators as announced by the Examinations Secretary (www.exam.hku.hk). Additional instructions from examiners (if any) are listed in the following section "Special Notes".

It is candidates' responsibility to ensure that their calculator operates satisfactorily, and candidates must record the name and type of the calculator used on the front page of the examination script.

CCST9012 Our Place in the Universe
    Candidates are permitted to bring to the examination TWO sheet(s) of A4-sized paper with  printed/written notes on both sides.

 

ECON1210 Introductory microeconomics
    Candidates are permitted to use any online/electronic/printed/handwritten materials in the  examination. Internet searching is allowed but crowdsourcing from group messages, online  forums or social media, etc. is strictly forbidden.

 

ECON1220 Introductory macroeconomics
    Candidates are required to bring HB pencils and eraser for answering multiple-choice questions on  computer-readable answer sheet.

 

GEOG2152 Health and medical geography
    Candidates are permitted to bring to the examination ONE sheet(s) of A5-sized paper with  handwritten notes on a single side.
